NEW Panel view: Overview & details at a glance
Version 10.1 introduces a new view in codeBeamer ALM. For a quick overview on your items, use the panel view that combines the granular insights of the detailed view with the bird’s eye perspective of the list view. Please note that in 10.1 the panel view is read-only!
Suspected changes history: Control the impact of changes
See a summary of all changes made on a particular item since the item was first marked as having a suspected link. This cumulative list of changes is easy to overview, enabling you to follow up on all changes of that particular item for more efficient impact/change control.
Shared fields: Integrate all stakeholders
In version 10.1, we have updated the handling of shared fields. Both reports, the intelligent table view, and the document view now handle share fields. This enables easier administration and advanced reporting even when working with lots of external or internal contributors in a shared system.
Review improvements: Gain confidence in managing approvals
Using the item-based review rather than the Review Hub? There’s a new review filter that gives you a summary of all your item-based reviews in one place.
For Review Hub users, an update enables moderators to easily update (add or remove) items waiting for review when restarting a review or while the review is running. You no longer have to open the review to access statistics: just hover over the analytics icon in the summary view to access review statistics.
Deployment improvements: Protecting your production environment
For admins managing complex project structures, 10.1 now provides the ability to export project dependencies. This way, admins can safely and efficiently update background workflows on a test server before deploying to production the new project configurations and dependencies.
Expert filter mode: Access detailed insights
Using this mode, you can now combine default filters with expert filtering written in codeBeamer’s proprietary query language cBQL. This enables granular and flexible filtering options on all your data stored in the platform.
Table view with embedded fields: See all attributes at once
We have updated the table view to display table-type fields. Using version 10.1, the table view is able to show you a complete overview of your items’ attributes.
Document view updates: Speed & usability
Managing large volumes of data? In codeBeamer ALM 10.1, we have significantly improved the performance of the document view. You can now load 27,000 items in 2 seconds. Besides performance, we have also updated this view in terms of usability. Using this version, you’ll be able to access the same folder structure in table view as in document view.
Test management updates: Supporting Product QA
To facilitate testing and error handling, you can now simply copy test case/test run properties to newly generated bugs. Automated test step importing is now available to rule out duplications.
