Mass Test Run Creation from Test Sets

With this new function, it is possible to create test runs from multiple test sets with a single operation. Once the test runs are created, users can apply settings to all of these test runs at the same time. The mass test run creation function must be enabled in Application Configuration, by default, it is disabled.

Maintenance Mode

The maintenance mode enables easier maintenance task executions. When this mode is turned on, only users with Access in Maintenance Mode permission can log in to codebeamer. Only users with system administrator role can turn on maintenance mode.

New Permission for Shared Field Administration

A new group permission called Administration permission for shared fields is introduced to enable users who are not system administrators to administer shared fields.

PostgreSQL Support in codebeamer

Support for PostgreSQL is introduced to improve performance and scalability.

Improved Microsoft Excel Import Settings

The settings applied at a Microsoft Excel import are saved for the given user and tracker. When importing data from Excel to the same tracker, the settings are re-applied automatically. This function can be configured on project level.

Resizable Columns in Intelligent Table View

With the column resize feature, users can resize available table columns in the intelligent table view.

Official Support for Working Set Feature

In codebeamer 21.04 (Dorothy), working sets have been introduces as an experimental feature. From codebeamer 21.09 (Emma), the feature is officially supported.

Improved Email Notification Settings

In the Preferences menu, users can personalize which notification emails to receive from codebeamer. To access these settings, the function must be enabled in Application Configuration.

Tags in Swagger API

If present, tags of an item are included in the response when calling tracker items via Swagger API.

Disable Structural Changes in ReqIF

User can choose not to include structural changes in a ReqIF import. If this function is selected, importing from ReqIF will not add any new items or trackers, and will not move or delete existing items. Only the attribute content is imported from ReqIF.

Exporting Baselines to ReqIF

This new function enables exporting project and tracker baselines to ReqIF.
