Review Hub - Why is the [Set Statuses] Button not Available?

Description

When finishing a review process in the Review Hub, there is an option to set the status of the reviewed items by clicking the [Set Statuses] button.

In some cases, the [Set Statuses] button is disabled or not even displayed.

Observed on

  • Codebeamer 21.09-LTS (EMMA)

Explanation

When the review is automatically created from the workflow by a guard, further status changes are expected to be triggered automatically.

In this case, the [Set Statuses] button is disabled, therefore, the moderator could not interfere with the process.

Example:

The guard does not fulfil its task in case

  • A guard is used to prevent the setting of the Approved status if item has no review,
  • And, the moderator could set the status of the item to Rejected.

When creating a review from a baseline, the [Set Statuses] button is not displayed. The status of the work items cannot be modified in baseline, therefore, the [Set Statuses] button is not necessary in this case.
