Word Export - Looping through Items Multiple Times in Template

Description

Displaying data from a tracker in multiple sections may be necessary. For example, displaying all the current variables for work items first, and listing the work items with the name of the submitter, and with the date of creation as an appendix.

For this, all work items need to be processed in a first round, and then, in a second round.

Solution

The Word template can contain the same loop multiple times if a postfix is added to the used bookmark.

Example:

You have these two items:

You want to export it, but process them twice. In the first round, only the name and the description are displayed. In the second round, the name, the ID and description are put into a table.

For this, create a template with two loop_item bookmarks.

Add a postfix to the second loop to be able to create it. The "item" in the merge fields can be used, the postfix is only required in the name of the bookmark.
