Jira bi-Directional implementation was completely refactored in 9.0.0 and old style project dependent implementation is deprecated and not supported anymore.
Staff feature is no longer supported
Mercurial support is only with special support contract available

codeBeamer 9.0.0 - General information

Upgrading to codeBeamer 9.0.0 may take a more than half an hour depending on the existing artifact count in the database
Every customer needs to request a new codeBeamer License for version 9.0.0 because new codeBeamer will not accept previously issued licenses
Jira Tracker bi-Directional synchronization is BETA version (Tested with Jira Version v6.3.8, 7.2.6 and 7.5.2)
codeBeamer Branching feature will not be available for those trackers where Jira bi-Directional or Doors Bridge is associated OR Jira bi-Directional or Doors Bridge will not be available when a Tracker is already Branched
Users can revert back to the previous version of TinyMCE feature set and look and feel using general.xml, but this is no longer supported.
Starting from codeBeamer 9.0.0 existing Tracker Views are no longer available, Tracker Views are upgraded to common Report standards without backwards compatibility
- Existing Tracker Views are not available anymore as Tracker Views
- All Items as default Tracker View and Configurations layout settings are always considered during Tracker export into MS Office, regardless of the currently selected Views; this limitation will be removed in further releases
- Users will be able to configure Filters for References or Guards selectors during the Tracker configuration; here the old style views will be available.
During Work Item revert procedure workflow actions are not reapplied on the selected work item
Include plugin is now more restrictive because of Security reasons, codeBeamer will not allow access directly to files from file system anymore
Notifications: Submitter User will no longer follow newly created Work Items by default but all Trackers configurations are automatically updated accordingly to send notifications about any changes as backwards compatibility
Default Workflow action executor user will be the current user, background processes may still use the workflow action manager user as before
Rest and Remote API are only accessible with specific group permissions in the future.
