Review Hub Checklist

The Review Hub Checklist is an extension of the Review Hub, enabling reviewers to use a checklist during reviews.

Since Codebeamer release 22.10-LTS (GINA), a Description field is available in section 3. Set Up Review of the Select Items to Review window.

Operation

In the Description field, the moderator or the creator of the review can provide a checklist to guide the reviewers what to consider during the review process. This is the Review Hub Checklist.

The content of the Description field is displayed on the Description tab of the right side pane.

In case a review is submitted without a checklist, the following message is displayed: "Please select an item to see its properties here."


If the email notifications are enabled for the review, the notification emails sent to the relevant users contain the value of the Description field as well.

Limitations

Images and files cannot be added to the Description field.

Review Hub Checklist Update

The content of the Description field can only be modified in edit mode by moderators, the Checklist is read-only for reviewers.

The Review Hub Checklist can be updated either during a review or upon a review restart.

In case the Checklist is updated during the review restart, the review history contains the corresponding Description for the historical data. If the Checklist is based on a review template, it can be modified for a given review without any affect on the template.
