What is new? - 7.6
Enhanced integration
codeBeamer now offers better connectability with DOORS and ReqIF integration. What's more, you can now use templates to export data to MS Excel, letting you use customized diagrams, forms and fields. codeBeamer's round-trip export-import function now also covers MS Project, enabling you to simply export, edit and reimport projects. You will be automatically notified of any changes in the project when reimporting the document.
Usability improvements
The new Requirements Review feature lets you rate your requirements on a scale of 1-5, and filter requirements based on this rating. The Service Desk Overview provides your customers with an easy to use customized service desk which is fully integrated in your ALM platform – this way, they can simply submit bugs or change requests via a user-friendly interface.
The updated Traceability Browser in codeBeamer 7.6 offers a convenient drag and drop feature and suggested trackers, as well as exporting results to MS Office. Team management is enhanced by drag and drop role assignment and presence indicators.
Using codeBeamer 7.6, you can also access a brand new Configuration Diagram to visualize the relationship between your work and configuration items, enabling you to simply map your processes.
Furthermore, the baselining dashboard has been redesigned for better usability, and includes a simple comparison feature and advanced notifications. Wiki search has also been updated with 'best match' and 'includes search keyword' results, and notification settings can now be easily set on the My Account dashboard.
Risk Management & FMEA
codeBeamer's risk management functionality is greatly enhanced by the new Failure Mode and Effects Analysis template introduced in version 7.6. The FMEA template helps you conduct a comprehensive failure mode analysis, plan your risk mitigation actions, display your project's general risk levels using the Risk Matrix Diagram, and export the entire FMEA worksheet for further collaboration. The complete how-to guide in the FMEA template provides ample information on the process of conducting a Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
