Using the Data Inconsistency Detector

Running Detectors

The Data Inconsistency Detector page can only be accessed by System Administrators.

To use the Data Inconsistency Detector:

  1. Log in to codebeamer.
  2. Navigate to the following URL:
    <codebeamer_base_url>/sysadmin/detectors/get-info.spr
    The Data Inconsistency Detector page is displayed, where the available detectors are shown.
  3. Select the detectors to run.
    In the case of some detectors, an additional execution parameter can be added before running the detector. For information on execution parameters, see the page on the specific detector.
  4. Click Execute. The selected detectors run and the results are displayed below.
Refreshing the page while detectors are running causes the results not to be shown. Refreshing the page after results are shown causes the results to disappear.

Detector Results

After the selected detectors are run, the results are displayed on the same page.

The following information is displayed:

  • Date and time of running
  • Status
    This shows if the selected detectors have finished running. The following running statuses are possible:
    • Executing: the selected detectors are currently running.
    • Finished: the selected detectors have finished running.
    • Error: some or all of the selected detectors encountered an error and did not run properly.
  • Specific detector results. This includes:
    • Detector name
    • Status
      This is the status of the specific detector. The following detector statuses are possible:
      • Passed: no inconsistencies were found by the detector.
      • Failed: inconsistencies were found by the detector.
      • Error: the detector encountered an error and did not run properly.
  • Details
    Detailed results specific to each detector.
