Edit a Review

To edit a review, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Review Hub and open the review that you want to modify:

2. On the review page, click the icon:

The review configuration page opens.

3. On the Settings tab, make any modifications in the name, deadline, notification or signature related settings as applicable:

4. If applicable, specify status mapping thresholds in the Status thresholds field:

This functionality performs an automatic status mapping for review items when the number of "Approved" or "Needs more work" votes reaches a certain value during the review. The default threshold value for both items is "All", which means that an automatic status mapping is performed for an item when the review is closed if all review participants voted the same (accept or reject) for that item. The status of the item is set to the value specified for each threshold value on the Settings tab. If not all review participants vote the same, then the status value of the item is set to "Mixed / Not Reviewed" when the review is closed.

If you uncheck the "All" checkbox for any of the items, you can set a specific number as a threshold value for that item (vote). For example, if you set the threshold value for "Approved" votes to "2", and you select the ''Set to "Approved" status' value for this threshold, the status of any review item will automatically be set to "Approved" at the end of the review if two reviewers accept the item and no reviewer rejects it.

5. On the Manage Users tab, add or remove review participants and moderators as applicable:

You can add or remove users, groups or project roles to/from the review.

If necessary, you can also replace review participants on this tab by clicking the icon in the Replacement field. If you replace a reviewer, the original reviewer will be removed from the review and the new reviewer will inherit all the modifications (votes, comments, and so on) that the original user has made in the review.

For example, if the original reviewer accepted 5 items and rejected 6 items (with comments) out of the 24 items in a review, the new reviewer will have all these settings as their own votes/comments when they open the review.

From codebeamer 21.04 you can edit the Viewers of the review here as well.

6. When you are finished editing the review, click Save to save the changes.
