Advanced Traceability View: Access all the data you need in one view

Visualize parent-child hierarchies within the updated intelligent table view and traceability views. Use filtering, tagging, and hierarchy labelling. Filter all levels of traceability, and display all attributes and downstream relations including test results. Rely on codeBeamer 10.0’s new Advanced Traceability Views to simplify compliance audits.

Cross-object Filtering: Easily find relevant data

Using sophisticated filtering queries, you can now simply gain insights using ALM data. For instance, you can now find all the test cases that verify requirements implemented in the current release. Or you can set up a query to find all the requirements that have risks associated with them that are not yet mitigated.

Permanent Links: Share exactly what you see

To make collaboration easier with other team members, codeBeamer ALM 10.0 now supports permanent links. Using this feature, you can share a list of items including all their details, exactly as you see them on your screen. You won’t need to save the view, or even open a mailing software to send it to other team members! This way, you can easily share an accurately sorted, filtered, and grouped list of items including the selection and size of relevant columns.

codeBeamer ALM Offline Testing App: Test your products any time, anywhere

Keep your QA team connected, and collaborate efficiently for all-round product safety & reliability. codeBeamer’s new QA app enables you to test your products in remote or isolated environments with no network access. Download tests on your phone or tablet, run them while offline, and upload data automatically as soon as you’re back on the grid.

Swagger API update: Easier supplier integration

The updated Swagger API in codeBeamer ALM 10.0 brings an improved data model. The updated API supports more actions, better tracker item management, and usability improvements. Through this updated API, you can efficiently integrate your suppliers in the process of product delivery.

Tracker item review: Advanced approval management

Build approval steps in your workflows conveniently. Require (FDA-compliant) e-signatures including username, password, and role to complete status transitions. Using codeBeamer 10.0, you can easily export review information for individual items or aggregated data (e.g. for an entire tracker).

Scalability and High Availability

codeBeamer ALM 10.0 scales with your business. This new feature is a great upgrade for users of large deployments. It lets you implement horizontal scalability by running multiple parallel nodes, where a failing node will not affect availability for your users. If your installation has hundreds of concurrent users, the scalability and high availability feature of codeBeamer 10.0 ensures optimal performance and virtually guarantees no downtime.

MBSE in Safety-critical environments: Connect ALM to model-based engineering

Close the loop between textual and model artifacts in model-based systems engineering (MBSE)! This new version of codeBeamer ALM brings an updated integration with Enterprise Architect. Our new Enterprise Architect Connector 2.0 helps you maintain full traceability between architecture (models) and requirements. Automated data exchange is ensured to synchronize requirements, model attributes, and artifact links/references across codeBeamer ALM and Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect.
