codeBeamer 7.9 – Queries, release management with Gantt-charts, bidirectional JIRA® integration & more
Queries to filter & search codeBeamer elements
Whatever you're looking for, codeBeamer's new query functionality will help you find it. In addition to using built-in queries (Submitted by me, Assigned to me, Recently Viewed) to find any item in any of your projects, you can now use codeBeamer's own query language (cBQL - cbQL) to define custom filtering queries. These queries may be saved to your favourites, and shared with other users.
Gantt chart release management & statistics
You can now oversee and manage your releases using an interactive Gantt chart. The chart not only gives you an overview of your sprints and releases, and how work is progressing against the plan, but you can also edit your releases directly from the Gantt chart. Any changes done on the chart will automatically take effect on the affected releases or sprints.
Bidirectional integration with JIRA®
To maintain data consistency throughout the entire development lifecycle, codeBeamer's integration with JIRA has been updated to be bidirectional. This integration now allows you to make updates to work items on the fly, ensuring that all your teams and team members are up to date with all changes. Any adjustments made in codeBeamer will be replicated in JIRA, and JIRA updates will be automatically mirrored in codeBeamer. As in earlier versions, data synchronization can be automated (as often as every 2 minutes).
