Internet Explorer Compatibility View
Compatibility view (or mode) is a feature of Windows Internet Explorer that forces the browser to render a webpage as a legacy Internet Explorer would render it (IE version 7).
codeBeamer does not support Internet Explorer compatibility view. This feature has to be turned off for codeBeamer sites in Internet Explorer settings.
If a codeBeamer site is visited from an Internet Explorer 11 browser with compatibility mode then the following message is displayed and the site cannot be used:
To turn off compatibility mode for your codeBeamer site do the following:
- In Internet Explorer 11 go to Tools > Compatibility View settings:
- If your site is on the Intranet then clear the 'Display intranet sites in Compatibility View' checkbox.
- If your site is listed in 'Websites you have added to Compatibility View' box then remove it.
- When clicking on Close the page automatically refreshes and codeBeamer pages render correctly (if not, exit IE and start it again).
Please note that Internet Explorer Compatibility View can be controlled through Windows Group Policy, and the end user might not be able to turn it off. In this case, contact your system administrator for assistance.
