Requirements Review functionality and the license is replaced by Review Hub functionality and license. Requirements Review functionality is not supported from CB 8.2.

to replace your Requirements Review license to Review Hub license.

Workflow Review will no longer enabled by default (but it is configurable in general.xml see more details on

this Wiki) please use the Review HUB instead.

codeBeamer 8.2.0 - General information

Inheritance of Test-related Tracker types (Test Case, Test Set, Test Run, Test Configuration) configuration is enabled again during project or tracker creation process
Traceability browser no longer allows the selection of the Test Run type tracker
Test Set, Test Configuration and Release, Team will not be followed and can not be initial tracker on Traceability browser
Relations Tab on Work item details screen has been completely replaced with Traceability Tab
Redundant work items are ignored by default on lower levels in Traceability browser for better usability (but this is configurable in general.xml see more details on this Wiki)
Traceability browser will limit the displayed reference results on each work items not to display thousands of references several times
Traceability browser Office export is also limited
Completed Test Run status was renamed to Finished; please check your existing Reports and cbQL Queries.
Test Run and Test Case tracker configuration is more restrictive - it is not possible to define Guards or modify necessary fields anymore for Test Runner but this is configurable in general.xml see more on this Wiki
codeBeamer automatically creates TestStep.Id column if it is missing from Tracker configuration by system user
Escalation Tab on Work Item Details screen is not visible until there is an escalation
System Administrators are allowed to modify usernames and email addresses of the users (but this is configurable in general.xml see more details on this Wiki)
Wiki links and plugins are automatically updated in newly created projects based on Templates
Execute as option for Workflow actions is disabled by default (but this is configurable in general.xml see more details on this Wiki). Option will be available for previously set settings but by default this will be invisible
Users will be able to change tracker custom field types but only from Wiki to Text or from Integer to Number
Review Hub is now available for Users with Review Hub license with limited functionality but Document Review feature was removed completely and no longer available
Older version of Review statistics will no longer visible by default on Work Item details screen (but it is configurable in general.xml see more details on this Wiki)
Project related Reports will no longer be accessible when the project is moved to Trash. Individual reports will be accessible but the user will get an error message about the deleted Projects or Trackers.
Table Widget with fields using UTF-8 characters should be recreated because of character encoding problems. These changes are not compatible with earlier versions. After recreating these widgets, the custom fields can be managed on Table Widgets as well
