Connections with external systems

Starting with CB-9.1, system administrators can now see, which projects and/or trackers are associated with external/remote systems, e.g.

  • Atlassian JIRA©
  • IBM Rational DOORS©
via Connections with external system on the System Admin page:






You can show connections with selected external/remote systems:




You can see projects and trackers, that were associated with external/remote system via:


You won't see projects and trackers, that were imported from Atlassian JIRA via:


Initially, you will only see the projects,
  • that are either directly associated with external/remote systems,
  • or that have trackers, that are associated with external/remote systems.





To change the selected external/remote systems, click on the corresponding link:

To show trackers, that are associated with external/remote systems, either
  • Expand a specific project, by clicking on ▸ in front of the project name,
  • Expand all projects, by clicking on ▸ between Project and Tracker in the headline.





You can collapse projects individually, or you can click on ◂ in front of Project in the headline, to collapse all currently expanded projects at once.


The names of all listed projects and trackers are links, that will show the respective project or tracker in a new tab. But you need appropriate permissions, otherwise access to the project or tracker will be denied.

To see details about the associated external/remote system, click on the corresponding link:
  • You must be a project administrator (of that project), to see details/settings about external/remote systems associated with a project.
  • You must be a tracker administrator (of that tracker), to see details/settings about external/remote systems associated with a tracker.
