What is new in codeBeamer 7.4?codeBeamer 7.4 is released! We developed great features to provide users with unlimited flexibility to show dependencies between all tracker types and advanced filtering for easier querying and quicker access to information. The easy-to-use and easy-to-filter GUI of the new Project Browser enables users to categorize projects by colors based on their status. It saves users time when searching for relevant projects and checking project status. With the new Project Planner we launched two filtering panels to provide users with easier querying and quicker access to information and comments attached to issues. One of the most outstanding features of version 7.4 is the Traceability Browser that provides users with unlimited flexibility to show dependencies between all tracker types including requirements, bugs, issues, tasks, change requests, etc. IT Operations can also greatly benefit from the new version. codeBeamer 7.4 provides IT Operations with the enhanced feature to select issues and set escalation rules.codeBeamer 7.4 is a full version that needs to be deployed as a new installation. Upgrading from earlier versions is not yet supported. Project Browser has been redesigned with advanced filteringThe new Project Browser has an easy-to-use and easy-to-filter GUI. Now users can categorize projects in addition to differentiating and filtering projects by colors based on their status. All users can add and set up working sets to display the projects they most frequently work with. The filter tab is available at the left hand side of the project browser, allowing users quick access to filtering options and categories. The visual layout of the project list has also been enhanced. In the default view, all projects are listed as icons. By clicking on the project name, a pop-up box will appear, showing all relevant information like project activities, burn down charts, and sprint status. Under working sets, each user can create categories and add the projects they are accessing or working on most frequently.The new project browser provides easier filtering and enhanced, user-friendly visualization for on-going projects. These enhancements save users time when searching for relevant projects and checking project status.

This feature differentiates codeBeamer from all other ALM tools as it gives unlimited flexibility to show dependencies between all tracker types including requirements, bugs, issues, tasks, change requests, etc. The drag-and-drop feature allows users to select a tracker type and the relations to display. The Traceability Browser shows all dependencies across different projects. Suspected links are also visible in the dependency matrix. The result of the dependencies query can be exported into an Excel sheet.
