How to import Test Cases with Test Steps from Excel

Starting with codeBeamer 7.10.0 we improved the usability to Test Step import process with the following method

Importing and round-trip editing of TestCases with TestSteps in Excel This method works with codeBeamer version 7.7.0 and higher only. .

Example file with test cases

Go to a Test Cases tracker and select import
Attach the Test Cases excel file and click on Next
Assign all column to the right field (except ID) and click Next

Configure advanced conversations. Set "Split by" field to "Line end" both, for Test Step Action and Expected Result fields and click on Next

Check the preview screen and click on Finish.
